Before Purchase
Will my pearl look exactly like the photos?
Yes — most of our pearl pieces are photographed individually, so the pearl you see is the exact one you will receive. We also provide images under different lighting conditions whenever possible, so you can view its luster and tone with confidence.
What pearl types do you offer?
We work with Akoya, South Sea, Tahitian, and Freshwater pearls, selected based on design direction, availability, and your budget.
Can I request pearl size?
Yes. You’re welcome to share your preferred size range and we will recommend the most suitable options available.
Do you offer matching sets?
Yes — matching sets are designed and selected as a complete set from the beginning. To ensure harmony in pearl character and metal tone, we do not recommend building sets separately over time. If you’re looking for a coordinated set, we suggest selecting all pieces together.
Ordering & Delivery
How long does custom take?
Most custom pieces are completed in 2-6 weeks, depending on pearl availability, matching requirements, and design complexity.
Shipping time?
Yes. U.S. shipping is estimated at 3 business days (excluding weekends). International shipping is usually 10-14 days, depending on destination and customs processing.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free over $200. Otherwise, a $10 flat rate applies.
Do you charge tax?
Tax is currently applied to California orders only, because we are required to collect sales tax for orders delivered within California based on local tax regulations.
Can I check out online?
Yes. Ready-to-wear pieces with an online price can be added to cart and completed through secure Stripe checkout for U.S. orders. U.S. orders over $200 ship free, U.S. orders below $200 are charged a $10 flat shipping rate, and international orders are currently handled by request. Please contact us directly. Pre-order pieces may still proceed when current material stock is limited.
Return policy?
Because each pearl is individually selected, we do not offer standard returns. However, we provide long-term care and redesign support to ensure your piece evolves with you.
After Purchase
Lifetime Care & Redesign
Every pearl necklace purchased from 33 Pearl Atelier includes complimentary lifetime restringing and cleaning. Earrings and other pearl pieces receive complimentary cleaning and maintenance. We also provide pearl redesign services to transform treasured pearls into new pieces. Please contact us for a service quote.
Care Guide
